Nadat er toch wat maanden voorbij zijn gegaan omdat er wat meer tijd nodig was voor andere dingen heb ik zojuist mijn eerste upload gedaan. Een flink verbeterde serie Plan E. Zodra beschikbaar staat alle info in de bijgeleverde handleiding. Misschien niet goed genoeg voor sommigen omdat het maar freeware is zullen er toch wel wat liefhebbers voor zijn .

Hartelijk dank voor Plan E en U. Heb altijd gehoopt dat dit er komen zal, je zag zoveel plaatjes/foto's en met de gedachte had ik die ook maar. En warempel zag ik ze op de site staan, Plan U heb ik inmiddels binnen gehaald, Plan E volgt. Nogmaals dank.

I loaded the scenario [Kcalk04]De 18000 Sneltrein richting zwolle for t' Olielijntje_V3.0 but the coaches for the player train do not display correctly.
They are called NS PlanW2 68 NL.
Are they from an earlier version of these coaches that no longer shows correctly or is it an installation issue?

Those are different coaches called Plan W so they are not Plan E coaches. You can download the Plan W here: viewtopic.php?f=52&t=2039

The Plan W coaches are a different coach type from NS than the Plan E, and the Plan W is the coach that you made a screenshot of. The scenario you mentioned uses both the Plan W and Plan E coaches. What the problem is with the broken NS logo on the side of the Plan W coach, I do not know.

I'm assuming that you have installed v3.1.

When you installed this version, did you first remove the old one, because if you leave it and just install v3.0 you might have problems?
The reason why I am asking this is because you have some missing texture around the bogies.
Try to remove the old one, and reinstall v3.1, and see if that works.

Oh and by the way, this is not a Plan E but rather a Plan W

So today I am back at school learning more things about NS Railways ;-)
I now know a little about Plan E and Plan W coaches and that the Plan W coach update changed some things with an earlier version.
I saved the original files in back up and installed version 3.1.
Now I have coaches with no visual problems and am aware that older scenarios may need to be updated to use the new versions.

(10:18 I have just removed some text because I was unsure of the accuracy of my statement)

This advice is clearly given in the v3.1 download page.

hey, i wanted to check if my scenario is still using the old version or if it's using the newer version.

I think it was looking for the older version with the missing textures
and if you revisit your scenario for v2 route it may have been broken for v3 - I think I had some small errors which I fixed..
