RIS staat voor Reizigers Informatie Systeem, doormiddel van dit systeem worden de reizigers in de trein geïnformeerd via displays en omroepberichten over de stations en de route van de trein.
Deze software simuleert dit RIS voor vrijwel alle mogelijke trajecten in Nederland voor de SGMm en SLT. Vul in het programma de gewenste gegevens in van de route die je gaat rijden, zoals het treinnummer en het begin- en eindstation. Let wel op, sommige nieuwere stations zijn nog niet toegevoegd, gezien de leeftijd van dit programma. Voor het invoeren van treinnummers, kun je het beste nummers uit de dienstregeling 2011 gebruiken.

Dit programma is ontworpen voor Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS), en werkt dus niet volledig samen met het huidige Train Simulator Classic. De omroepen moeten los worden afgespeeld en handmatig aan scenarios in TSC worden toegevoegd.

RIS stands for Reizigers Informatie Systeem (Passenger Information System), through this system, passengers on the train are informed via displays and announcements about stations and the train's route.
This software simulates this RIS for all possible routes in the Netherlands for the SGMm and SLT. In the programme, enter the desired details of the route you are going to run, such as the train number and the start and end station. Please note, that newer stations aren't available due to the programme's age. To enter train numbers, it is best to use numbers from the 2011 timetable.

This programme is designed for Microsoft Train Simulator (MSTS), and does not fully work with the current Train Simulator Classic. The announcements must be played separately and manually added to scenarios in TSC.
