Beschrijving
De M2 is een speciaal ontwerp voor de Belgische Spoorwegen en werd in 1959 in gebruik genomen.
Er zijn er nog enkele in dienst in de moderne bordeauxrode kleurstelling, in combinatie met de HLD51- en HLD62-diesellocomotieven, maar ze worden geleidelijk vervangen door nieuwe DMU’s en EMU’s.

Description
The M2 is a special design for the Belgian Railroads and was introduced in 1959.
There are still a few in service in modern bordeaux-red in combination with the HLD51 and HLD62 diesellocomotives but new DMU's and EMU's are replacing them.
