BeschrijvingIn de zomermaanden van de 2e helft van de jaren 80 reed de NS op de zaterdagen extra treinen naar Valkenburg. De regio Zuid Limburg in en om de Parkstad regio is tot nu toe nog steeds een populaire vakantiebestemming in de voormalige kolenmijn industrie regio. Er zijn ook veel campings en bungalow parken en hotels in deze regio. Het enorme heuvellandschap is zeer bijzonder in Nederland. Om de drukte in de zomer maanden op te vangen reed NS op de zaterdagen extra treinen vanuit Zwolle, Den Haag en Amsterdam naar Valkenburg en omgekeerd. Daarnaast liet NS in de ochtend en later op de middag enkele Intercity's uit Zandvoort naar Maastricht en Heerlen van de 800 en 900 serie na kopmaken doorrijden naar Valkenburg en gingen dan als materieel rit naar Heerlen opstel of naar Maastricht opstel. Al deze treinen maakten deel uit van de zogenaamde Valkenburg expressen.
In dit scenario rijdt u trein 6244 van Valkenburg naar Zwolle. Het bijzonder van trein 6244 is dat deze trein standaard van Maandag tot en met Zaterdag rijdt als stoptrein van Roermond vertrek 12:41 naar Nijmegen aankomst 14:09 uur. In de zomermaanden rijdt trein 6244 op zaterdag als Valkenburgexpres en begin de rit in Valkenburg. Vanuit Valkenburg rijdt trein 6244 over de Miljoenenlijntje naar Heerlen met alleen een stop op Simpelveld, en Kerkrade Centrum. Na een korte stop op Heerlen rijdt trein 6244 zonder tussenstop helemaal door naar Roermond. Te Roermond pakt trein 6244 om 12:41 uur zijn dagelijkse taak als stoptrein naar Nijmegen na aankomst te Nijmegen, gaat het dan als sneltrein door naar Zwolle en stopt onderweg alleen nog maar op station Arnhem, Zutphen en Deventer. In dit eerste deel rijdt trein 6244 van Valkenburg tot Roermond. Na Roermond rijdt u nog een klein stukje door tot einde route waar het deel 1 zal eindigen. Via de Maaslijn gaat het verder via Venlo naar Nijmegen.
Dit is een realistische scenario. Alle reizigerstreinen in dit scenario rijden volgens de echte zaterdagdienstregeling van 31 mei 1987 tot en met 28 mei1988
Goederentreinen in het scenario zijn fictief. Ook is er zo veel mogelijk de juiste type treinen zo ver het in TSC mogelijk is ingezet. Dit betekend dat er ook materieel van Dutch Classics in zit wat voor sommige computers misschien te zwaar kan zijn wat geheugen betreft.

In order to accommodate the crowds in the summer months, NS ran extra trains from Zwolle, The Hague and Amsterdam to Valkenburg and vice versa on Saturdays.
